We left Arizona at 6:43pm on Wed. It was an interesting time at the airport. It seems that there is a Matthew James that has several warrants out for him and has been put on the "do not fly list". So they had to clear Matt before we could leave. I almost didn't think they were going because Matt's birthday is 10/30/1980 and the WANTED Matthew James birthday is 10/31/1976. So they told us that we should arrive early to Detroit because it's going to happen again. It was VERY interesting.
The flight was good. We were all spread out on the plane - but we ended up getting me, Matt, Keegan, and Triniti all together. Hunter was a few rows back - but he made friends on the plane... he got them to buy him snacks. They all said he did very good - he even met a girl who went to school with me at Pettisville. The babies did good - Triniti slept the whole time and Keegan watched Elmo almost the whole ride. We got into Detroit around 1:30 and got to our hotel around 3:00 - we finally made to bed around 3:30.
Thursday we started our day out early and went to the hospital to see my grandma. She was so excited to see the kids and finally meet Triniti! She loved seeing her. My grandma was in a great mood and in very good spirits. We enjoyed getting to spend some time with her!
When we finally got to the Burkholder's where we are staying we were exhausted!! Karen and Matt took the boys to see Larry at the field. They let me and Triniti take a good nap!! We really needed it!
We went up to the Pettisville school to watch our friends little boy play ball and we were surprised - my nephew was playing as well. We got to see lots of people we haven't seen in forever!! It was great!!
After that we came back to the Burkholder's and just crashed... Overall we didn't do a lot but it was a great time!
Today is more time with friends!! Hopefully I can get some pictures posted soon.
