Where did October go???

October was a busy month but we love October - it's Matt's birthday which always keeps him a year older then me... :) And then Halloween - it means dressing the kids up for a night of fun - what's not to love about that?  So here are some pictures of some of the fun things that happened in October!!

Matt and I went out for his birthday early since it was so close to Halloween we knew everywhere would be busy and it was on the weekend which made it worse so we went out earlier in the week.  I had a great night planned out - we were going to the new Toby Keith Bar and Grill which Matt really wanted to go to... well who knew they would close the entire place down for a concert... so that didn't work out. So instead we went to another steak house - we ordered an appetizer and they got it wrong... then Matt ordered his steak RARE and it came out WELL DONE... that doesn't settle well with a Chef let me tell you... so the entire night really didn't go as planned... but we had fun! :) Oh and Matt let me get my hair done... don't you love it.. you can't even tell I have a slight mohawk on one side anymore! :)

We also had a visitor from Ohio!! Lisa came to visit family and stopped by to visit us!! We loved having her here... Keegan REALLY loved having her here and kept asking when she was coming back! :) 

We carved pumpkins - Keegan and Hunter did a great job - Keegan really got into it this year and told Daddy what shapes he wanted!! Daddy accidentally cut out one of the teeth he shouldn't and he put it back in with a tooth pick and Keegan asked him if he was the tooth fairy! Gotta love that kid!! Mommy did Triniti's pumpkin - Triniti helped get the "guts" out but mommy had to stop her after she started eating it! :)

Matt turned 30 on October 30th - we had a great time just relaxing at home and spending some time together... Matt ended up cooking for his birthday but I BOUGHT him a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cake so I think that made up for it! :)

 For Halloween we went to my brother's church for some games, candy and rides!! We had a great time!!

Wow what a busy month... but November doesn't seem much slower... :)
