Today is a close to another year... It's hard to believe how fast the years seem to go. 2009 we were blessed to have Triniti Jo join our family - oh what a blessing! :) Other then that 2009 has been tough but we made it through!
Last week our sermon was on making resolutions outward and not inward... meaning not to focus so much on our selves when making our new years resolutions because those don't last very long... how TRUE! We always have good intentions... but we lose focus...
So Matt and I have talked about some outward resolutions we want to do this year. Mainly for our family! Matt and I have started a 60 day challenge/ series on how to be better parents! We are loving it - and it's the best gift that we could give to our kids! It makes a lot of sense - the things that seem so easy are the things that work the best!! We are also going to be doing the Financial Peace University at church in January! We can't wait to start giving like never before! And then we have talked about different ways we can help others and give of ourselves to the church and community! We are so excited to see what 2010 has to bring!!
Happy New Year everyone - we can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!
Tomorrow we are headed to Flagstaff to let the kids play in the snow!! We can't wait! We will take LOTS of pictures to share!
Being able to just drive a bit to find snow, and then once you've had your fix, driving back home to where there is no snow...yeah, I agree, that is ideal!! Maybe someday for us too. :)
